Swing check valves automatically open and close through the force generated by the flow of the medium in the pipeline, making them a type of automatic valve. They are used in pipeline systems primarily to prevent backflow of the medium, reverse rotation of pumps and their drive motors, and discharge of medium from containers. Check valves can also be used in pipelines that supply auxiliary systems where the pressure may exceed that of the main system.

Swing check valves are suitable for pipelines in various working conditions in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power, with a pressure range of PN1.6~16.0 MPa and operating temperatures from -29 to +550°. Applicable media include water, oil, steam, acidic media, etc.
